Ghosts with Guns goes Digital!

GHOST ZERO: Ghosts with Guns is now available for free via Wowio through the digital publisher Dakuwaka! Wowio is a growing digital publisher that offers tons of books, comics, and graphic novels for download completely free to the user. There are a couple of hurdles, however. One is that currently, you have to be in the U.S. to take advantage of this, and second is that you have to have an ISP-tied email address...gmail, yahoo, and hotmail don't work. Apparently, they use the ISP-tied email address to make sure that you are who you say you are, and not a person with a hundred different email addresses logging in to download. If you have a work email, school email or internet-provider email, those should work fine.

The great news is, once you've overcome that hurdle, there are literally thousands of great PDF's there you can download and read. I personally have really enjoyed reprents of old comics like "Adventures into the Unknown", "America's Best Comics", "Ghost Comics", "Flash Gordon", "Steve Canyon", "The Phantom" and tons more.

So, run over and check out "Ghosts with Guns" on Wowio!

I'll be out this weekend enjoying my 3rd wedding anniversary (and Indiana Jones!). Hope you have a great one!

Escape from the Vigilante Crypt, Page 14

You see that, kids? Bullies always get.....burned to death..by ghosts. Ah, well...maybe that's not so good a moral as it could be. Does the arrival of the ghost take some of the "heat" off of Eddie? Is he still in the "hot seat"? Ugh. Too...many....puns....)
Enjoy the page! If you want to see the rest, head on over to http://ghost0zero.com/!

Interior art for Sentinels novels

Chris Kohler is hard at work on interior art for each of my three SENTINELS novels, now being published by Swarm Press, beginning in June.

I'll post a few previews on my writing blog in the days to come.

Here's a link to his pencil sketch for the first pic in volume 3: APOCALYPSE RISING:

And to the right is some finished art from book 2 , just to make this entry more visually appealing! :-)

Page 13 of GHOST ZERO: Escape from the Vigilante Crypt!

Vivi

I thought I'd post page 13 of the "Vigilante Crypt" story that I'm working on. I put out a new page each Monday. If you'd like, I can post them here for folks to enjoy as well. Let me know in the comments area if you think it would be "too much" for the blog. If you want to see the other pages, you can check them out at the GHOST ZERO BLOG.

Work In Progress

Gee, things were getting stale around here. Figured it was time to jazz things up a little bit. Ha. As most of you are likely aware,
Andrew Salmon and I have been writing the first novel in a proposed new series entitled, The Ghost Squad. At the same time as we are writing this debut adventure, our cover artist, Chad Hardin has been busy at work on the cover. Chad's an art student learning digital painting and I think extremely talented.
This is his progress to date and when I saw it, I knew I had to share it with all of you pulp amigos. Fingers crossed, the book will be available early this summer.

At the Windy City Pulp Con

The Pulp Factory was well represented at last weekends Windy City Pulp Con in Chicago. Top to bottom, we have Van Allen Plexico, looking tired, but glad to have arrived. There's Doug Klauba (on the phone to his wife) and Airship 27 Productions own Ron Fortier & Rob Davis. Other PF members included Michael Hudson of Reel Art Studios. It was a great show and everyone present had a blast. Hope lots more of the Pulp Factory gang will make it next year.

Pulpsters at NY Comic Con

Unless you've been living a cave this past week, you should know there was this very big comic convention in New York city. Among the thousands of comic fans and creators, a trio of our
own Pulp Factory Employees snuck in the guise
of being comic fans. (well, maybe they weren't really disguises ..ha.) So here's Doug Klauba,
Anthony Schiavino and Bobby Nash. The Three
Amigos. Looks like everyone was having a ball.
I am so jealous.

Life In The Yellow Lane

Spring has sprung. Here in Georgia that means that it's time for the pollen to fall. To commemorate the occasion, the Life In The Faster Lane is GOING YELLOW!

Stop by the Life In The Faster Lane site at http://fasterlane.blogspot.com and see how R.O. and family fight the yellow menace.
